Lent begins with Ash Wednesday, February 14, 2018

Masses are:   6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30AM (school attends) 12:05 PM and 7:00 PM.

 

Opportunities for Confession:

"The Light Is On For You" - Confessions every Wednesday during Lent at St. Marys, St. Vincents in Cape, Immaculate Conception in Jackson from 6:30 - 7:30 PM in each church.

If it's been some time since you've been to confession this is a wonderful opportunity to seek reconciliation.  Just go to one of the above churches on a Wednesday during Lent, from Feb. 21-March 28 between 6:30-7:30 PM.

Fridays during Lent confessions are heard at St. Marys  following the Stations of the Cross in the evening.

Confessions are also heard at St. Marys on Tuesdays throughout the year from 4:30-5 PM and Saturdays, 2:30-3:30 PM.

 

Stations of the Cross

Walk the way of Jesus to Calvary each Friday during Lent, either at 2:30 PM or 7:00 PM. 

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will be each Friday during Lent at 6:30 PM.

 

Fasting and Abstainence

Remember to Abstain from meat on all Fridays of Lent and including Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.

All meat includes beef, chicken, fowl and pork.   All those 14 and above should abstain.

Fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday - Those between the ages of 18 and 59 must fast.
