Protecting God's Children

All adult volunteers 18 and older for school volunteering, parish youth activities, Vacation Bible School, Camp Re-NEW-Al;, Children Liturgy of the Word, Little People Church, Coaches and any other Youth program or activity are required by our diocese to attend a Virtus "Protecting God's Children Awareness" Session. Pre-registration is necessary. Go towww.virtusonline.org. Click on "registration" and follow the prompts.

You will need to complete the background screening process, which is also found at this website. Schedules and updates are published at this website and in the Diocesan newspaper, "The Mirror" as well as on the diocesan calendar at www.dioscg.org.

Virtus is about keeping our children safe. Every adult needs to know how to keep children safe. All parish and school employees, volunteers who work with children and youth are required to have a background check.
